Dr. Jake Lape is a native of Jackson, MS. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Ole Miss and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. While in PT school, he also earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification and has experience as both an online and in-person strength coach.

​He has clinical experience with sports, orthopedics, and men’s pelvic health. He is also a certified Dry Needling provider through United Dry Needling.

Dr. Lape’s passion is to provide a fitness-forward approach to healthcare and give patients back control of their lives and symptoms through an active approach.

In his free time, you can find Dr. Lape on a golf course, lifting weights, running, or watching NFL RedZone. He is a competitor at heart – he has completed 4 half marathons, 1 marathon, and 2 Hyrox!

​Dr. Lape also enjoys trying new restaurants and breweries with his wife, Maddie and spending time with his golden retriever puppy, Bennie.
