Work 1:1 With Your Physical Therapist Through Your Entire Session — Not an Assistant

Whether you’re recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition, optimizing your training, or preventing future injuries, our licensed therapists use proven, evidence-based treatments tailored to your unique needs.

Traditional physical therapy models allow a rushed evaluation with a physical therapist before you’re handed off to an assistant for the majority of each session. This disconnected experience can leave you frustrated and secretly wondering if all the bases are being covered in your care.

At Streamline, your entire session is 1:1 with your physical therapist. You’ll have their full attention and expertise for your assessment and any manual therapy, and you’ll be under their watchful eye to help you master your home program and answer any questions along the way. No more being passed around—you’ll have their undivided attention and high-level expertise from start to finish.

What does a physical therapy session look like?

The first visit is mostly testing: we measure the movement that hurts, compare sides and assess the joints and tissue around it by hand. Treatment starts the same day.

Follow-ups are about fifteen minutes of hands-on work, then the loading that makes the change stick. Dress to move, and bring the shoes you run or work in.

Who this is for, and who it isn’t.

Good fit

  • Your pain or limit has outlasted a couple of weeks of waiting.
  • You are post-operative and want one doctor from week one to discharge.
  • You have done therapy before and stalled partway.
  • You want the cause and endpoint before committing to a schedule.

Not the right first stop

  • A medical emergency. Chest pain, sudden one-sided weakness or numbness, a worsening head injury, or fever with severe spinal pain belongs in an emergency room.
  • Anyone wanting a standing appointment for a rub and a heat pack with no endpoint.

Phase I
Pain

Quiet the part that is shouting.

Hands-on treatment starts at the evaluation, calming the structure enough to load it again.

Phase II
Prime

Give back the motion you lost.

We work the joints and tissue actually limiting you. If the ankle will not bend, the knee takes the hit, so the ankle gets the work.

Phase III
Perform

Load it until you trust it.

Strength comes back against written standards, not how you feel that morning. You clear each phase’s number before moving on.

Phase IV
Prevent

Make it stay fixed.

Before discharge we retest what failed, then give you a program that fits your week.

Endpoint: defined at evaluation reviewed with you, every phase
“I’d tried weeks of therapy previously at another place and nothing compares to the one-on-one treatment I receive at Streamline. Krista has not only treated the problem I was referred for but the issue as a whole.”

Put it in writing.

Five short questions. A real person calls you back, usually within two business hours, with times that fit your week.

The people who end up filling this out are rarely in the worst pain of their life. They’re just done working around it, done picking the errand that doesn’t require the stairs. If that’s the stage you’re at, this is the part where you stop researching and start.
