Dr. Ryan Spencer
PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS
Director of Leadership, Clinical Mentorship & Physical Therapist
Dr. Ryan Spencer hails from Long Island, NY, and made the move to Arizona January 2017. A former football player, discus and shot put thrower, and powerlifter, he is currently a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gracie Barra. With extensive experience treating thousands of patients from diverse backgrounds, he now specializes in caring for active adults, martial artists, and athletes.
After serving as the director of an outpatient orthopedic clinic for over two years, Ryan grew weary of the corporate environment. Frustrated by corporate demands, insurance limitations, and the focus on profitability over patient care, he joined Streamline Performance PT to provide the high-quality treatment his patients deserve.
As a board-certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS), Ryan is committed to delivering the latest practices in orthopedic physical therapy. In 2019, he received the Most Outstanding Clinical Instructor Award from Midwestern University.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys training in Jiu-Jitsu, practicing archery, walking his dog, weightlifting, reading, and watching sports. He is a passionate fan of New York sports teams, including the Jets, Rangers, Yankees, and Knicks.
